about Donna

The dbooks concept started in 2005 when Donna originally thought her plans were to be a solo provider. Within a matter of just a few months though, Donna was bookkeeping full-time; and yet still receiving a constant stream of referrals. Donna decided to form a team in order to continue to assist those interested in her standards of service. And now, after over 15 years, dbooks has over 20 bookkeepers on staff, and serves a client base of over 400 individuals and businesses. Prior to 2005, Donna’s first career was with EDS (Electronic Data Systems), where she worked for Ross Perot as a systems engineer, instructor, leader, strategic planner, and Y2K project manager. Donna left EDS in 1999 to become a foster parent, eventually adopting her now three grown children, through foster care. In her spare time, she enjoys writing music, playing golf, and spending time with her family.
